About VF
With over 30 years experience supporting the not-for-profit sector, Visualise Fundraising are providers of a broad range of data, systems and support services, specialised for the philanthropic and not-for-profit sector. We have worked extensively in both the higher-ed and charity spaces and offer best practice expertise and deep insights into the processes and practices that underpin effective and efficient fundraising operations.
Inefficient operational practices are dangerous for a not-for-profit of any size. They drain internal resources, decrease the efficiency of your programs and increase the risk of unhappy donors and misfiring campaigns. Don’t risk it! We can help you get your data clean, your processes streamlined and give you the ability to unlock the insights hidden in your data. The result is better decisions, more efficient campaigns, more support for your cause and more impact where it matters.
We are highly skilled in Blackbaud products, Salesforce, Crystal Reports, Tableau, and SPSS, but can provide support to any and all products used in the industry. Visualise Fundraising is based in Sydney but can work locally or remotely in line with your requirements.

Julia Villiotis
Director, Visualise Fundraising
Julia has gained a wealth of experience working across the Not-For-Profit and Higher Education industries in Asia Pacific for over 15 years. Her experience is broad, having performed hands-on roles in gift processing and data management, database administration, data extraction and analytics, reporting and data visualization, bequest and estate-management strategy development, recurring-gift program optimisation, and communications targeting, segmentation, and testing.
Julia is highly skilled in end-to-end data management and utilisation, having worked across multiple platforms including Raisers Edge, RE NXT, DonMan, ThankQ, and Salesforce. Julia’s approach is to ensure your organisation has a robust, valid, and usable system which will increase user interaction, boost your data capture, and enable more comprehensive and accurate output and insights.
Working in many and varied roles across not-for-profits such as The Sydney Children’s Hospital Network, the National Heart Foundation, and Variety, the Children’s Charity, has allowed Julia to develop a comprehensive understanding of complex charity operations with multiple revenue streams and high volumes. This experience informs Julia’s approach to data management which aims to optimise the value and utility of your data capture, allowing for efficiencies and insights that will elevate all areas of your operation, and maintaining compliance with privacy and fundraising legislation throughout.
As the Data Analyst and DBA for Western Sydney University (Aus) for 6 years, Julia focused on increasing the quality and quantity of data capture through user-focused training and integration work. Consistent with her end-to-end approach, Julia and Adrian worked together to establish a comprehensive visualised reporting suite for the Advancement and Alumni offices. Data and metrics became focal points of meetings and strategic discussions, and during this time the team at Western grew their gift commitments 14-fold, from $2.3M to $32.8M.
Having attained a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons), Julia is fond of using her psychological knowledge to underpin her approach to philanthropic activity. Specifically, by applying psychological principles of attention and visual perception to her report visualisations, and using behavioural science, advanced analytics, and philanthropic data to provide truly unique insights into your donor-base and prospect pool.
